A SECOND man has been charged in connection with alleged threats against ref Kevin Clancy after a powderkeg Old Firm match.

He was arrested and charged in May after the SFA reported a number of sinister messages.
Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard Clancy’s work email address for his job in the legal profession had been widely circulated online.
Sheriff Peter McCormack fined Samson £640. The ref is believed to have received hundreds of hateful messages after the game.
Gers wrote to the governing body asking for clarification over his decision to disallow the goal in the 20th minute.

Now cops have confirmed another man has been arrested in connection with the matter.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A second man, aged 26, has been arrested and charged in connection with threatening communications which were reported by the SFA on Tuesday, April 11.
“He is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.”
