R. Kelly Retaliates Against Documentary, Allegedly Leaks Accuser's Sex Tape Online

August 2024 · 3 minute read

The harrowing six-part docuseries, Surviving R. Kelly, is bringing viewers face-to-face with the disgraced musician’s accusers.

As more and more people speak out against him, Kelly has reportedly devised a plan to discredit these women.

He is allegedly behind a new site that aims to publish personal information and sex tapes of his accusers.

TMZ reports that R. Kelly is vowing to “expose” all of his accusers.

Apparently he has a list and he’s planning to address his accusers “one by one,” like some sort of evil Santa Claus.

According to TMZ, sources close to Kelly say that his team is working on a site called “survivinglies.com.”

The name, an obvious play on the docuseries title, Surviving R. Kelly, signals that he is fighting back against the women who shared their harrowing experiences.

Per the report, Kelly intends to “expose all of his accusers as liars.”

He is also said to be plotting to “reveal their true motivations behind their allegations.”

In other words, he’s allegedly launching a PR blitz against the ever-growing list of women who accuse him of being a monster.

To announce that the site is underway, a Facebook Page was launched on Monday, January 7.

The Daily Mail had the unenviable experience of taking a look at the page and reported on the now-deleted contents.

Per the report, “video had been posted online of one accuser engaging in sexual relations.”

This was apparently the accuser who accused Kelly of giving her herpes and of filming he without permission while she engaged in sex.

Based upon the accusations against R. Kelly, it appears that this is retaliation for all of the things that she said about him.

Facebook took down the page, and explained the decision to TMZ.

“The Page violated our Community Standards and has been removed,” Facebook said in a statement.

“We do not tolerate bullying or sharing other’s private contact information,” the social media behemoth added.

“And,” the statement continued. “Take action on content that violates our policies as soon as we’re aware.”

R. Kelly has not confirmed that he is involved and neither have his people.

But to many people, it looks like blackmail.

When women step forward to share their horror stories about sexual violence, too many people ask “why didn’t you come forward sooner?”

The answer is always the same: there is stigma and suspicion against accusers.

When the accused perpetrator is a celebrity, many people do not want to hear it.

R. Kelly is accused of using grooming, physical violence, his wealth, his fame, and punishments including starvation to hold women in an abusive sex cult.

It is not a surprise to hear that he is allegedly now retaliating against these women who are bravely speaking out against him.

The saddest part is that these women, particularly those who knew that they were filmed, must have known that he had this ammunition.

It takes an almost unimaginable amount of courage to speak out when you know that retaliation is coming.

The consequences of Surviving R. Kelly should not be understated.

Multiple celebrities, even those who have been silent about the disgraced singer in the past, have spoken out against him.

Social media has been buzzing with reports of R. Kelly’s most famous and beloved songs getting booed at clubs.

At the same time, reports say that some of his most diehard fans are deliberately amping up listens on his songs on streaming apps.

Remember, even convicted sexual predator Bill Cosby still has ardent fans who defend him and claim that he is innocent.

For now, the rest of us should do what we can to show emotional support for the courageous women who have spoken out.
