Penn Badgley, born November 1, 1986, is an American actor known for his work on TV and in film. Penn got his big break on the soap opera series ‘The Young and the Restless’ in 2000, when he was only 14-years-old. After a few smaller projects, he returned to TV in 2007 and played Dan Humphrey alongside Leighton Meister and Blake Lively on The CW series ‘Gossip Girl’ until the series finale in 2012. After his success on the show, Penn appeared in a few guest roles and a number of small, independent films before hitting it big with his latest successful project ‘You’ in 2018. Although the show initially appeared on Lifetime, it was eventually dropped before getting picked up by Netflix. Now, Penn is on one of the most binge-worthy shows on the popular streaming service.
