CORONATION Street fans cannot believe what they’ve just heard after Mary Taylor told a filthy story.
The florist - who is played by actress Patti Clare in the ITV soap - is known for her fanciful stories of her colourful past but tonight she gave fans a mouthful.
As Brian explained he had found a cousin in Italy and he wanted to go and visit her, he asked for Mary’s help to make it happen.
And while he meant running the cabin back in Weatherfield, Mary thought he wanted her to accompany him to Napoli.
She was thrilled, and told him how she’d been there before.
“Oh how lovely,” she said before her story took a turn for the surreal.

“You know I passed through there once. Many moons ago when I was young, care-free and full of spunk,” she said leaving fans spluttering at home.
She added: “In fact there was a memorable afternoon by the Castel Nuovo with an ice cream vendor.
“Sadly I’ve forgotten his name now but I’ll never forget the colour of his eyes or indeed the taste of his frutti di scusa.”
“That’s a very moving story,” replied Brian taken aback but viewers couldn’t cope with the outrageous story.
